James Wignall studied at the universities of Leeds and Goldsmiths and is a composer for documentary and commercial films. From 2010-2016 he was a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist in the band Cheatahs on Wichita Recordings, during which time the group released two critically acclaimed albums and toured extensively throughout Europe and North America. After Cheatahs disbanded in 2016, James began to write and produce film music for clients including The British Council, Adidas, BALLY, and The V&A, where his work is on permanent display. He lives in London.
